Read for Change is more than just a name. We believe that as a school we are called to love and serve one another and our communities. We started our readathon four years ago, so that we could do just that, serve others in a meaningful and impactful way.
We want you to know that your reading and fundraising efforts are making a difference, in Kenya and here in BC! As a school last year, we donated $26,000 to Building Beyond Borders! This fundraiser allows us to support children, like Ruah. Ruah is six years old and we are helping to pay for his schooling and supplies. We are so grateful for your enthusiastic participation and want to say a big thank you!! We can support these two initiatives and challenge ourselves to make a difference, by reading for change because of your efforts.
