We are looking for certified teachers in BC to teach grades 10-12 Humanities courses.
Heritage Christian Online School (HCOS) is a K-12 Provincial Online Learning School, providing fully accredited, Christian education to students in BC. As one of Western Canada’s largest online schools, we connect teachers with families and students to provide guidance and support via personalized, online, and face-to-face options.

The Position:
We are looking for multiple certified BC educators for a 0.5 – 1.0 FTE Humanities Specialist position. These positions may be made up of more than one subject, as described below:
- Online Synchronous & Asynchronous Innovations Courses
- Delivering instruction and assessment for
- English First Peoples 10
- Literary Studies 11
- 20th Century World History 12
- Comparative Cultures 12
- Physical Geography 12
- BC First Peoples 12.
- Position will start May 1, 2026 and is a 12-month teaching position including online instruction during the summer months

What we Offer:
- Contractor model
- Competitive salary: ~$75,000-$91,500 based on a 1.0 FTE and depending on experience and certifications.
- Teacher salaries are based on number of courses and students taught.
