The Position:

The Prince George Community Connections program is a one-day-a-week face-to-face program serving students from Kindergarten through to Grade 7. 

The coordinator role involves oversight of the Community Connections location while supporting the teachers and assistants in three classes (K/1, 2/3/4, and 5/6/7) teaching Science, Social Studies, and Art, as well as providing support/encouragement for families. This is a 0.15 position on site (Thursdays) for 30 weeks at First Baptist Church in Prince George for the 2025-26 school year. 

Qualifications:

  • BC Certified Teacher
  • Previous experience teaching relevant subjects
  • Ability to build relationships and work relationally with students, parents, teachers and other team members

What we offer:

  • Competitive Wage: $13,000-$14,000/year based on 0.15 FTE and depending on combination of positions and experience and certifications
  • Contractor model
  • Ability to combine position with other posted teaching opportunities within HCOS
