Hello HCOS & Flex Community,
With the Christmas season approaching, we need your help to make our annual virtual Christmas Celebration amazing! This year, it will look a little different than in the past as we have decided to introduce a Christmas Art Celebration!
The Christmas Art Celebration is a wonderful and fun way to see how the incredibly talented families from all across British Columbia celebrate Christmas in their own unique ways. We have created a community Padlet for participants to showcase their creative flair for the Christmas season.
Curious about how it works?
Come up with a Christmas-themed artistic creation of your choice. To help get you started, here are some ideas:
- Sing a Christmas carol
- Cook a festive meal
- Bake a batch of cookies
- Dress up your pet in a Christmas costume
- Do a Christmas devotional
The options are endless, and we cannot wait for you to show us how creative the HCOS community can be! When you have your creation, submit it to our community board to share your Christmas celebrations: https://hcos.ca/christmasart2025
How to Use Padlet
Never used Padlet before or confused about how to get started? Look no further because we have you covered!
- Do something fun and creative for the Christmas Art Celebration and document it!
- Click on the link above, and it will take you directly to the Padlet for our Christmas Art Celebration
3. In the bottom right corner, you will see a circle with a plus sign. Click on that to get your submission started.
4. A window will open for you to detail your project. You can add any applicable files and information. Please be sure to include a description of your project. Name, grade, and other information are optional. There are many ways to submit your creative project:

- Spotify Link
5. Once all your information is added, click on the submit button, and your project will be posted on the Padlet!
6. Share your holiday joy by commenting and giving stars on other submissions!

What do I need to include when submitting my creation?
Please include a brief description of your creative project. Name, grade, and other information are optional.
Do I have to do something that is on your list of examples?
No, we have just provided that list to help you come up with an idea of what to submit. You are welcome to follow the list, or do something else that is fun and creative! In the past we’ve seen Christmas celebrations like dancing and even figure skating. We love to see your creativity!
How long is the submission period?
The submission period is from November 20th to December 19th, 2025.
Am I able to see other people’s submissions?
Yes! On the board, you will be able to comment and give stars to other people’s submissions.
By sharing your post on the Padlet, you give HCOS permission to celebrate your photos or videos on our website, social media, and other related materials.
