Like the Energizer Bunny, the SSC Team hasn’t stopped this year ….. We ran over 3300 sessions and felt so much joy in helping over 300 students work through Math problems, Science experiments, Socials slideshows, English essays, PE logs and Art projects. And, we didn’t stop there. We also provided accountability check-ins and helped students create schedules, goals, plans and to-do lists to ensure all the work got done. We ran workshops and for the first time, Christmas parties – these are moments we won’t soon forget!
And, we won’t soon forget Lisa Deitrich – one of our remarkable Math & Science EAs – as the end of the 24/25 school year also brings the end of her time with the SSC. She will be dearly missed, but we are so excited for her as she heads off to complete her BEd in the fall! Saying goodbye to Lisa also means we’ll be adding new members to our team in September, so please come back then to give our new EAs a warm welcome!

Willing to share about your SSC experience?
Though the 25/26 school year might seem in the distant future, our team knows that it’ll be here before we know it – look how fast the 24/25 school year flew by! We would love your feedback on how we can make next year even better. We would so appreciate it if you completed this anonymous and strictly for research purposes, SSC Survey.
Need help over the summer?
Don’t fret, the SSC will be open with reduced hours.
Visit Taryn’s Book Now page to stay on top of her availability over the summer (keeping in mind that just 2 weeks will be shown at a time). She can also be reached by email.
From the entire SSC Team
We pray your summer is a time of reconnection, refreshment, and lots of joy and laughter! And if we don’t see you in the summer, we look forward to reconnecting again during the 25/26 school year!
