Blazing Trails in the Rodeo World
Haden recently completed the Summer North Peace Rodeo Series, a milestone achievement in their growing rodeo career, taking home their first belt buckle, winning 1st in steer riding.
Rodeo isn’t just a competition for Haden—it’s a passion that combines skill, discipline, and camaraderie. Since attending their first clinic a year ago, Haden has dedicated countless hours to refining their skills and traveling across Northern BC to compete.
In his words, “I love Rodeo because it’s a sport where you can not blame anyone else. I love the independence and freedom.”
Dreaming Big
Like every driven athlete, Haden has big aspirations. When asked about the future, he said: “Hoping one day [to compete at] the CFR (Canadian Finals Rodeo)!”
With determination and a strong work ethic, Haden is charting a path toward this dream.
Freedom to Succeed
“It allows me freedom to travel!” Haden shared, describing how home education has made it possible to follow their passion for rodeo while staying on track academically.
With the flexibility to pursue both learning and life experiences, Haden is shaping a path that works for them.
