Hello HCOS Grade 10-12 Students!
Last year, we embarked on an exciting new initiative at HCOS: our very first student yearbook! Thanks to its overwhelming success, the Student Council is thrilled to announce that we are doing it again! This year’s yearbook will once again be available to all students in grades 10-12, and it’s shaping up to be even better than before.
The yearbook will be a beautiful way to celebrate the memories, achievements, and experiences that define our HCOS community. As we turn its pages, we’ll relive the highlights of this amazing chapter of our lives, captured in photos and stories from all of you.
Submit Your Photos and Be Part of the Story!
The photo submission deadline is April 30th, but we encourage you to upload photos throughout the year to ensure your moments are included.
Here are some ideas for the types of photos you can share:
- Projects you’re proud of: Art, automotive repair, construction, robotics and more.
- Milestones: A photo of you holding your university acceptance letter, or celebrating your L and N for driving
- Grad: Pictures of graduates in HCOS gear or grad merch like hoodies and shirts.
The Student Council wants to celebrate all the amazing things HCOS students are doing. Upload your photos using the eShare link (and don’t forget to label each photo with your name, a brief description, and the category it belongs to (e.g., “social: me and my friends at a learning group/CC”).
Yearbook Categories We’re Showcasing:
- HCOS School Activities: Fundraisers, classes (Synchro, CC/CC+, LGs), and clubs (e.g., Breakfast Club, Book Club, Read-A-Thon).
- School Trips: ADP, SEALS, Learning Camps.
- School Spirit: Photos of students in HCOS colours or swag.
- Work Experience: Share your on-the-job moments.
